Cheap Pepsi Products 1/09 - 1/15

CVS/pharmacy

If you are unaware of how great CVS deals can be, here is one to get you started.

Buy $20.00 worth of Pepsi products and earn $10.00 in Extra Care Bucks. 01/16-01/22

Extra Care Bucks (ECB) are a CVS coupon that you receive when you buy certain items that are advertised for this week's specials. They are basically a gift card to use in CVS. Once you earn the ECB you can then use it to purchase almost anything in the store (They do have some exclusions such as alcohol, tobacco and stamps). The good thing about ECB's is that you can use them to purchase other products that produce even more ECB's. We call this "rolling" your bucks because you never run out of ECB's and, thus, you never pay out of pocket. Some items have a limit of 1 per CVS card. That means you can only do that deal one time to earn the ECB's. If you choose to do it again, the ECB will not print on the second receipt.

Here is an example of the Pepsi deal I did this week:

Transaction 1 -

Buy 6 twelve packs - $20.00
plus tax -                     $1.25
                                 =$21.25 spent out of pocket

On the bottom of my receipt I receive a $10.00 ECB

Transaction 2 -

Buy 6 twelve packs - $20
plus tax                      $1.25
Minus                        $10 ecb from the previous purchase
=                                $11.25 spent out of pocket

After the second transaction I have another $10 ECB for a future purchase. So in total I have 12 twelve packs of pepsi for $32.50 and $10 ECB for a deal next week.

(This deal is a limit of 2.)

*While this looks like a lot of money to spend out of pocket, it's really not since I am able to have $10  ECB to spend on my next purchase. You can either choose to save the ECB's for another deal next week or you can ust them to buy milk, bread, or other groceries at CVS. By doing this, you're saving the money that you would've spent at another store.
